Analytical and Olfactive Evaluation

A. Fakhry & Co. runs its own in-house laboratory providing the necessary data (via high precision analyses) to identify the 100% pure and natural character of its products.

• Precision weighing (Mettler-Toledo)
• Density (Mettler-Toledo)
• Refractive index (Mettler-Toledo)
• Optical rotation (polarimetry) (Polmatic)
• Gas chromatography (HP/Agilent 6890N Series) [soon to be coupled with mass spectroscopy (MS)]
• Raw material/essential oil yield analyses

The physico-chemical analyses below performed in-house are completed, when necessary or requested by our clients, with analyses provided by accredited laboratories abroad (SAI-Chimie (France), Lab Pyrenessences (France), Eurofins (Germany) with regards to:

• Pesticides residues
• Aromatic compounds residues (Toluene, Benzene, etc.)
• Phthalates residues
• Heavy metals residues
• Chirality (enantiomeric test)
• Carbon 14 (C14 test)
